Local Faith-Based

Rays of Hope Ministries (RaHoM) is a local faith-based organization in Malawi, Africa, that responds to educational challenges. It was founded by three young Malawians in 2009 in the commercial city of Blantyre; in a slum called Chilomoni.

\

Diverse

It does this through a variety of programs designed to help children complete primary (elementary) school, youth graduate high-school (secondary) and young adults attain economic independence.

\

Youth-Led

RaHoM creates a space for youth to be a solution to deep-rooted challenges facing their communities.

We believe it is our character grounded in our Christian values that separates us from the rest of the organisations. We believe that faithful pursuit of these defined values will ensure ease observance of our mandate.

Professionalism

We are a youth-led organisation that is super organised, has excellent work ethic and is mindful of our investment. We believe that professionalism means delivering results, attracting and retaining partners.

Integrity

We are faithful to use resources at our disposal with a high level of honesty, transparency and accountability. We believe that high level of integrity is key to maximise development investment.

Human Dignity

Every human being is made in the image of God, deserving every right treatment and care. We ensure that the lives of those around us, especially children, are safe and respected.

Education

Education is a catalyst for development BUT not every kind of education. We believe that relevant, creative and affordable education is a catalyst for development and we are a true definition of that.
